When trees tell the truth
La Cuarta Raya del Tigre is a Colombian Literary Collective. They were winners of the Ciudad Creadora stimulus with their proposal El libro del futuro (The book of the future) and propose an exhibition created from a series of creative laboratories.
For five weeks they conducted creative workshops with students from the last grades of Colegio Los Andes and República de Venezuela to reflect on truth, coexistence and non-repetition through art. The artistic pieces resulting from this process are 42 intervened notebooks that will be exhibited at Casa Datasketch.
On October 8 we will have the launch with a discussion and a musical intervention, the exhibition will be in our house until October 22 from Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. During this period, you can also find some of the proposals presented on our social networks.
Five things we like
- 🎨 I am illustrating the dictionary | Instagram. An illustrated artistic proposal that resists trends and algorithms.
- 🚌 Absurd Trolley Problems | Interactive page. The moral dilemma of the trolley has been popularized in memes, where a person is faced with a decision to send a streetcar one way or the other, with both alternatives having fatal consequences. On this page, you can play the game and encounter increasingly absurd moral decisions.
- 👥 You are looking in the wrong direction | Algorithm. Alberto Marocchino on his Linkedin page presents us with Nicola Procopio’s work. He asked an artificial intelligence to make a self-portrait, and to his surprise, she chose to represent herself as a female, human and white. Why did she choose to be female, white and young? Easy, because the training sources are biased.
- 🎼 Artificial Intelligence and composition | Music album. Artificial intelligence as a creative tool has arrived. In this new work, the group The Cotton Modules titled Shadow Planet uses artificial intelligence as a creative element for composition.
- 🤯 Mind Online | Resources. It’s a campaign about Mental Health on the Internet with podcasts and fanzines.
